The Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden is a 11 hectare garden located in Burnie. It started in 1981 by members of the Australian Rhododendron Society, North West Tasmanian branch and is now an independent, non-profit organisation. It features over 23,000 selected rhododendrons and other select plants with beautiful walking tracks, lakes, bridges and our unique wildlife.

The Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden is a partner garden of the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. The tea room is open Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays during August and December through till April. Open every day during peak flowering months of September, October and November. The tearoom is closed from May to end of July.
